Vectron Systems AG: HOSPITALITY.digital and VECTRON start a joint fieldtest
HOSPITALITY.digital, the digital unit of METRO, and Vectron, leading supplier of POS systems in bakeries and restaurants, will start a joint pilot project in the Rhineland on 03 September 2018. * More than 100 restaurateurs are to test the Duratec POS systems by Vectron free of charge * The goal: To reduce the installation effort of new POS systems; support in the electronic archiving of POS data; development of new digital business models HOSPITALITY.digital and Vectron are reacting with this cooperation to the requirements of the tax authorities, which will come into force with the stricter guidelines that will apply from 2020. As part of the METROpolitan Pilots programme of HOSPITALITY.digital both companies are testing new ways of solving this problem for restaurateurs and at the same time creating a broad database on which further digital solutions can be based.
