Vectron Systems AG (Vectron), a leading supplier of intelligent POS systems consisting of hardware, software and cloud services, primarily in the catering and bakery sectors, is launching sales of its new digital product bundle as a complete package for the catering trade.

After extensive testing, Vectron is now bringing its new digital business model to the market. The Vectron POS solution is a central data system which intelligently links multiple digital services - the table reservation system Resmio, the online ordering platform Restablo, and the DeutschlandCard points scheme. As a commercial network operator, Vectron will now also offer cashless payment options via the POS system.

This means that Vectron offers restaurateurs all key building blocks for digitalisation from a single source. In future, interfaces will be used to connect other services directly to the POS.

"This service is a win-win situation for all our partners such as Resmio, Restablo and DeutschlandCard. With Vectron's help, these companies can significantly increase the number of connected businesses. The outlet operators themselves have only one contracting partner who supplies the bundle of services at a significantly cheaper rate than the individual services. Vectron is tapping into new client groups and opening up new revenue streams which will eventually lead to a significant increase in sales and earnings," explains Vectron board member Thomas Stümmler.

Vectron is bringing this model to the market for its secondary brand "Duratec", with immediate effect. The aim is to grow its market share in the lower and middle price segment. The next step will be to present an attractive offer for the transfer of existing clients to digital services for the main Vectron brand, and thus the upper price segment. In terms of sales, Vectron will in future concentrate on a combination of the tried and tested specialist retail business and sales partnerships in the industrial sector.

As a result, Vectron will focus on recurring monthly revenue in future. "The aim is to significantly increase the lifecycle value and revenue per client. The service bundle makes it possible to earn more with individual clients, despite low prices," explains Thomas Stümmler.

Vectron intends to use the expected strong demand from the upcoming fiscalisation and associated legal requirements to transfer a large number of existing clients to this new digital model in the coming years, in addition to regular sales.
