Vectron Systems AG (Vectron), a leading supplier of intelligent POS systems comprising hardware, software and Cloud services and with a focus on the catering and bakery sectors, presented the figures for the first quarter 2019. As expected, a reluctance to buy was noticeable in the cash market, which can be explained by customers waiting for the legal introduction of the new fiscalization system on January 1, 2020. Sales declined accordingly and amounted to Euro 5.866 million (previous year Euro 7.416 million). The EBITDA fell to -0.887 m Euro (previous year -0,188 m Euro). Against the background of the new legal requirements for POS systems as of January 1, 2020, it is expected that sales in the POS business will rise significantly from the fourth quarter onwards.
