Ristorante é Pizzeria Etna has been located in Greven-Reckenfeld for almost 30 years. On 19 May 2015 the owner Antonio Furnari and his team opened a new location in Reckenfeld, which since then has been very well accepted. The modern equipment invites the guests to stay. The different areas provide a nice selection of seating accommodation. While in the old rooms there was only space for six tables there are now 36 – distributed to a sun terrace, a half-open terrace, a separable conservatory for private events and the nicely decorated indoor area. The menu is original, quickening the appetite and offering homemade pasta, fancy sauces and fillings, fish, meat, salads, pizza variations and creative mini desserts.
Together with the relocation to the new, larger premises, Mr Furnari's demands on the POS system rose in order to guarantee that the restaurant could be run smoothly. Soon it became obvious that the old cash register, which could only be operated via PLU numbers, had to be replaced by a more modern POS system. He decided to buy one stationary Vectron POS Touch with large customer display, two mobile systems - Vectron's latest model the POS MobilePro III - and three printers, one each on the main counter, drinks counter and in the kitchen.

"Plus, we very much liked the design", adds his wife. The Etna staff became quickly acquainted with the new POS system. Vectron specialist dealer Etamio made a thorough training for all the employees so that after two weeks they were all able to operate the new POS system. The Furnaris are satisfied with how the project was handled: "All our individual demands, minor and major ones, were quickly realized. The POS system is tailor-made to our demands like the easy handling of different tax rates for in-house consumption and take away meals, or the clear display of different prices for pizza extras to mention but a few examples. Furthermore, scales are connected to the POS system, which enables us to invoice our antipasti directly by weight."
The Ristorante é Pizzeria Etna also uses the bonVito reservation system, which is embedded to the restaurant's website as well as gift cards and the automated bonVito coupon management.
In addition to the restaurant the Furnaris also operate a catering service with a buffet of traditionally Italian, German or vegetarian dishes. Another option is to order the Etna pizza car for events. Small pizzas can then be baked in the mobile oven freshly on-site. Guests can select from a variety of toppings according to "all you can eat" to create their individual favourite pizza.
