Vectron Systems AG
Successful since 1990
With over 250,000 sold POS systems Vectron Systems AG, which is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, is one of the leading European manufacturers of POS systems, POS software, apps, digital and cloud based services.
Worldwide, the robust and high-quality products are sold via a network of approx. 300 retail partners. The high quality standard has made Vectron the market leader in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and BeNeLux in the target sectors of hospitality and bakeries. The end customer spectrum ranges from a single POS installation in a small town restaurant to a 1,000 POS network for chains.
Especially under rough working conditions, the stationary and mobile Vectron POS systems prove highest reliability. At the Munich Oktoberfest, the world's largest festival with about 7 million visitors, numerous of the large tents rely on Vectron. The ice cream chain Häagen Dazs, the K+K hotels, the airports in Prague (Czechia) and Dalaman (Turkey) as well as thousands of bakery chains like Keim, K&U/Edeka, Bumüller Sternenbäck or the Vienna confectionery Heberer have trusted the powerful solutions made by Vectron for many years. Whether in numerous ski huts or even in the Congo or on the Seychelles, tourists pay at Vectron POS systems.
The proprietary, highly flexible software is not just reliable, but also minimally susceptible to viruses and hacker attacks - and fewer failures reduce operating costs. At the same time, maximum connections to digital services and additional data backup are possible via the cloud. The best of both worlds.
In conjunction with the high-quality hardware, extremely reliable and efficient complete solutions are created for almost all industries and company sizes. A Windows version for PC-based systems is offered as an alternative. The individual adaptations and configurations of all POS solutions are usually carried out by the respective specialized trade partner.
At present Vectron employs approx. 175 employees on approx. 8.000 sqm in office and production in the Münster-based head office, 40 % of whom work in research and development.
The Vectron product range is updated at regular intervals to always serve the market with state-of-the-art POS solutions. Apps and digital services are integrated into the POS systems for convenient and efficient use. resmio, restablo and epay are among the cooperation partners. In addition, we offer low-cost, in-house leasing for the high-end POS systems. Customers thus receive maximum performance without having to invest a lot of capital.
With its second brand Duratec, Vectron has served the entry-level segment with cost-effective standard solutions since 2013. The durable Duratec systems are equipped with all important functions for a smooth business process and are at the same time particularly intuitive to operate.
With the bonVito brand, Vectron has established a multifunctional customer retention programme that can be integrated directly in the POS systems. All online marketing campaigns (e.g. digital stamps, customer cards with payment function and collection of points, coupons etc.) are realized automatically and tamper-proof via the POS system during the normal invoicing process.
Vectron has owned 100 % of posmatic GmbH since the beginning of 2019. The start-up produces POS software which runs on Apple hardware, such as iPads, iPods and iPhones. These systems are particularly popular with smaller companies.
