Focus on the core brand

 -  The strategic realignment of Vectron Systems AG will also be reflected in the product and brand portfolio from now on.

As announced at the annual general meeting in 2018, the company’s brands will be merged. The hardware brand Duratec is being integrated in the core brand and the Duratec hardware models POS S14 and POS S15 II are being included in the Vectron portfolio. The online services, up to now known under the brand names bonVito, myVectron and myDuratec, will be operated as the “Vectron Cloud” in the future. This cloud provides web-based and app-based solutions for all main operating systems.

The focus on the Vectron core brand makes it easier to establish the company as a full-size system solution provider. “Vectron is an internationally established and respected brand. Based on the new corporate design, we are pooling all previous hardware brands under the Vectron umbrella brand and all previous cloud services under the Vectron Cloud umbrella brand with immediate effect. This focus will strengthen brand awareness in the digital transformation and ensure a much tighter focus,” comments Oliver Kaltner, CEO Vectron Systems AG.

The merger of the technical platforms reduces complexity and enables Vectron to accelerate its new and further developments. The individual services are set up as modules which customers can combine individually to suit their specific requirements. Cloud services are currently already being provided in the areas of real-time reporting, analysis, online reservations and orders, customer and voucher cards with automatic management, and various customer retention modules.

Specific client solutions will also be introduced. The first is currently already being implemented under the GetHappy brand name. This is a client solution focused on Coca-Cola with a selection of commercial and end consumer-related services from the Vectron Cloud. Further partnerships are being planned as white label solutions.
