POS systems with numerous connections

Werner Feneberg, second-generation master baker in the family business of the same name, is sure: "The fuss had to stop!" What he means is the receipt obligation and the unnecessary extra work. He therefore used the options of his Vectron POS systems and introduced the digital receipt. "It's very rare now that a customer asks for the receipt - and we can print it out afterwards."

Originally, Werner Feneberg came to Vectron POS systems via the introduction of the Marwin bakery program by Goecom: "They recommended Vectron, and I am very satisfied with my decision." Recurring branch orders, but also customer orders entered in the branch, are transmitted from the POS to the head office by 17:30. He sees the direct connection of a scale to the cash registers as positive: "We do weigh and pack seasonal pastries directly in the bakery, but the scales connection allows for the additional sale of cheese in the branch".

One of the most actively used features of the POS systems is the recording of working hours of the numerous employees in the branches with the inviting café and the brand-new terrace areas. Payroll accounting at Feneberg has always been done via DATEV. Accordingly, they were open to the introduction of the direct DATEV interface, which automatically transmits the cash journal to the tax consultant. So, the company of Kassensysteme Geiger started a pilot project at Feneberg. Werner Feneberg: "Now everything runs smoothly." "In the past, poor internet connections around Eisenberg sometimes posed a problem. "In the meantime, we have fibre optics and a really fast connection," he sums up.
